Girton Feast Week

Village Fête: Saturday 10th July

Girton Village Fete will start at midday and run until 9pm, entry is free. There will be the usual mix of entertainment, food stalls, children's rides and games, beat the goalie competition and the beer tent selling local real ales.

Covid safety

Please note - we are encouraging contactless payments where possible, but some stall holders can only take cash. Please bring cash and cards if you can!

The Feast committee has been working hard to make sure the events are Covid-secure. We have hand sanitiser stations around the field, more space between stalls and a one-way system for entry and exit to the field.

Stalls

Village charities and businesses will be encouraged to run stalls at the Fête.

Entertainment Schedule

  • 12:00 - 12:30 Billy Banana, children's entertainer
  • 12:30 - 14:00 Will Robert, beautifully crafted lyrics, a fascinating array of guitar techniques
  • 14:15 - 16:00 Gravy Train, a high energy jazz, funk, soul organ trio, hailing from Cambridge.
  • 16:00 - 16:30 Billy Banana, children's entertainer
  • 16.30 - 16.50 FOGG summer raffle prize draw
  • 17.00 - 18:45 The Suits, a Cambridge event band playing covers across a range of styles.
  • 19:00 - close The Remnants, a local covers band with years of gigging experience to their name.
